SF Day 5

Day 5: Saturday was the last day of our trip. We’ll take it easy, we said. We have done enough walking, we said. We can take ubers everywhere…

Well, we didn’t. In an effort to relive some of our favorite sights from earlier in the week as well as seeing some stuff we missed, we walked 16+ miles covering a loop from Moscone to the Piers to Ghirardelli Square (with a detour to see the crooked block of Lombard), through Fort Mason and down to East Beach, then back down through pacific heights and the tenderloin.

We had checked most of the food places off our list earlier in the week, but we did have a great grilled cheese from Cowgirl Creamery and a freakin’ delicious slice of pie and a pie shake from Chili Pies and Ice Cream.

I’m posting this now because we took the red eye back last night and spent all day recovering. I’ll have a full album up on Flickr once we get all our pics pooled together.

Thank you, SF, for being the best city on earth… Can’t wait to see you again.

And thank you again, tumblr friends, for some great suggestions.
